3Frank Sinatra is widely regarded of the most successful man in show-business. With a glittering career spanning six decades on both stage and screen it’s easy to see why the ‘chairman of the board’ is held is such high regard as an entertainer.
Sinatra’s private life however has always been shrouded in mystery. With the story behind his four marriages (including spouses Ava Gardner and Mia Farrow) never truly explored, as well as his alleged connections to the mafia.
This month BBC Four delves into these mystery’s with interviews and accounts from Sinatra friends, family and associates shedding some light on the man himself.
