It’s been hard to miss Nile Rodgers’ return to the main stage this year. From ‘Get Lucky’ his chart topping collaboration with Daft Punk to his electric Glastonbury performance with Chic, Disco’s favourite veteran is back!
It now seems that Rodgers’ return is set to continue it’s upwards spiral as Daft Punk have just announced their intentions to return the collaborative favour. The Parisian duo are set to work with Rodgers on previously unreleased Chic material as well as film scores and his own solo work.
It came as a surprise to many that Rodgers rekindled his relationship with Chic, having disbanded the group in the 1980’s following the drop in popularity of disco music. However Nile is back at his best with ‘Get Lucky’ being among this years best selling singles.
To Celebrate his return, we’ve released “Good times”, a live album featuring all the hits from Nile Rodgers collaborations with Chic.
