About the songs
These songs are written in the style of 1930s and 1940s jazz/music hall, a la Chicago. They are written in order to reflect the growing interest in musical nostalgia – people were seeking a more traditional-jazz style as a refreshing alternative to the all-too popular rock music of the era.

The 42nd Street Tribute Band are an ensemble seeking to honour the musical theatre tradition. They are made up from a mixture of American musicians and artists, some of whom have achieved fame on their own and others who are looking for fame in a collaborative environment.
