Born in 1903 in Tacoma, Washington State, Harry Lillis “Bing” Crosby grew up listening to radio and became known the world over for his trademark baritone voice. He is considered perhaps the biggest and most influential star of the first half of the 20th century, from the Depression to the 1950s.
