About Bunk Johnson
Johnson is a great jazz trumpeter who helped define the emerging jazz language of New Orleans, himself being a direct influence on his contemporary colossus Louis Armstrong. He is associated with early jazz although, of course, his sound had a direct impact on the voice of future jazz trumpeters or current players like Wynton Marsalis.
