John Lee Hooker was born in Clarkdale, Mississippi on August 22, 1977. First introduction to music was received from his stepfather Will More. In fact, was discovered by record stereo owner Elmer Barbee. Already, with his first recording “Boogie Chillen” song became number one jukebox hit in 1948. John Lee Hooker developed and extended ‘talking blues’ as his trademark technique : judgmental way of piano play mixed with boogie-woogie style.
