Joseph Raymond “Ray” Conniff, also known as “Jay Raye”, was an American bandleader and arranger probably best known for his Ray Conniff Singers during the 1960s. Throughout his career was incredibly successful releasing 28 albums in the American Top 40 in just 9 years.
