About the songs

About the musical
Les Miserables, based on the French novel of the same name by Victor Hugo, is one of the most successful theatrical musicals ever. The musical was composed in 1980 by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg. Its individual songs are very catchy and this helps ensure that the musical will keep on being performed across the globe.
