Russ Conway was a popular British pianist that rose to fame between 1957 and 1963, gaining 20 piano instrumentals in the UK chart, 2 of which reached No.1 status. He was hugely successful during this period and achieved a cumulative total of 83 weeks on the UK singles chart in 1959 alone!
