Ray Charles has made huge contributions to music. Arguably one of the Greatest Artists of all time. This multiple Grammy Award winner and several time music Hall of Fame entry had numerous hit records the first being ‘I Got A Woman’. Black Coffee is a song that was written by Paul Francis Webster, with music by Sonny Burke and was published in 1948. Sarah Vaugh was the very first to release this in 1949 with Columbia, but many people have covered the track over the years. Ray Charles was one of these artists and released it in 1957.
