Relive some of your favourite childhood classics with our ‘Disney Favourites’, a series of original soundtracks taken from the films of Walt Disney.The soundtrack to the classic animated musical fantasy, Pinocchio (1940). Based on the novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, this tells the well known story of a wooden puppet that comes to life. Although it was not initially a financial success, it has gone on to be acclaimed as one of the greatest animated films of all time. This soundtrack has sealed it’s place in history as the film won two Academy Awards for Best Original Score and Best Original Song for the song ‘When You Wish upon a Star’ (listen below).
