ABOUT
‘Flamenco Guitar’ was Pepe Romero’s second LP release back in 1963. Conforming to Flamenco roots this album ensures percussion elements are achieved with the traditional castanets used by Flamenco performers. Whilst this may not be an overly serious album it conveys the feeling of live performance in a way no other Flamenco album can!

Pepe Romero is a quarter of the infamous Romero guitar quartet brothers, ‘The Romeros’. He has given over 50 solo albums, and 30 albums playing with ‘The Romeros’. A master of Flamenco style guitar he duly received a Knighthood from King Juan Carlos for his efforts in 2000. He has played for guests ranging from President Nixon to Pope John Paul II.
Pepe Romero is also kindly looked upon by the classical music world having played with Symphony and Philharmonic orchestras around the world.
