Battle Hymn Of The Republic

Written in 1856 by William Steffe, ‘Battle Hymn Of The Republic’ was originally composed as an instrumental piece with lyrics being added by Julia Howe in 1861. The song spread through the United States and rose in popularity among spiritual circles.
